H.P. Kaysser GmbH + Co. KG – Metal system solutions since 1947
What began in a Stuttgart courtyard workshop in 1947 has evolved into a modern, family-owned company with more than 450 employees. We develop, manufacture and assemble metal components and assemblies, ranging from simple sheet metal parts to complex systems with integrated electronics. Everything required for this process is available under one roof.
Who is H.P. Kaysser?
We are a highly modern family-owned company based in Nellmersbach near Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. Our customers include small businesses, medium-sized suppliers and international corporations from mechanical engineering, automotive, medical technology, environmental technology, defence and many other industries.
We operate under the brand name H.P. Kaysser, while our full legal company name is H.P. Kaysser GmbH + Co. KG. The initials H.P. stand for our founder Hans-Paul Kaysser. The street on which our headquarters are located today, Hans-Paul-Kaysser-Straße in Leutenbach-Nellmersbach, is also named after him.
His son, Thomas Kaysser, managed the company for 45 years and today serves as a shareholder and member of the advisory board.
What sets us apart
What distinguishes us from a pure contract manufacturer is the breadth of our manufacturing capabilities. We become involved as early as the project engineering stage and support components throughout the entire value chain, all the way to logistics and shipping.
For our customers, this means a single point of contact instead of a long supply chain. It also means there is no handover of responsibility between different production stages.
As a family-owned company, we think beyond quarterly results and focus on long-term success. This approach influences how we work with our customers, how we train future professionals and how we view sustainability. Rather than seeing sustainability as a campaign, we see it as the responsibility to ensure that our company continues to thrive for decades to come.
Our expertise and services
We take a holistic approach to metal processing. At H.P. Kaysser, a component can be designed, laser cut, formed, welded, machined, coated, assembled and packaged ready for shipment without ever leaving our facilities. That is precisely why customers entrust us with complex assemblies. Every outsourced production step costs time, creates transportation effort and introduces interfaces where quality can be compromised.
Locations
Our headquarters are located in Leutenbach-Nellmersbach, approximately 25 kilometres northeast of Stuttgart, between Winnenden and Backnang. The majority of our workforce is based here, operating on a production area of 35,000 m². Remaining in this region has been a conscious decision. We know the region, the region knows us, and a large proportion of our skilled employees and apprentices come from here.
